MicroReplay is the continuation of a 23 year long tradition of excellence in providing independent, genuine Apple parts, support and repair service. Started in 2005 by Charles H. Kouyoumjian and Joseph H. Kouyoumjian, MicroReplay serves the US and international consumer, dealer, corporate and education communities, supplying them with a wide variety of Apple knowledge, parts and repair services. Charles and Joseph are two of the original three founding partners of Pre-Owned Electronics, Inc., which they founded in 1985. They grew Pre-Owned Electronics from a tiny three-person start-up company to become the largest independent supplier of Apple parts and service in the United States. In 2005, they left the company they started and they are now no longer affiliated with Pre-Owned Electronics in any way.

Our mission is to provide a quality source, independent of Apple, for systems, parts and exchange repairs of Apple technology products. MicroReplay was born out of a desire to return to our Apple roots. We have specialized in Apple products for 23 years and we know them well. We have established a 13,000 square foot warehouse, service and repair facility located inside the Route 128 High Technology Region of Boston, Massachusetts, which is is dedicated to Apple products. With this new facility, we can serve you and your Apple needs best. We have used our new facility to build an inventory of systems and important service parts for both sale and exchange repair.

We are a major buyer of genuine Apple parts. Because we use the secondary market to acquire parts and systems, we have hundreds of sources to choose from, not just one. We continually receive requests to buy large and small inventories. Our reputation is for fairness and expertise in the marketplace. Our financial strength stands behind our prompt payment ability. Because of our experience, we are able to offer you a reliable supply of systems and parts for sale and exchange.

Equipment that has been used is not any less reliable than more expensive new equipment. Our rigorous Quality Assurance processes ensure the performance of all items we sell or exchange. Our processes and procedures are so thorough that we offer our own limited warranty. Our warranty is just like the original equipment manufacturer's warranty in that it provides protection against failures in materials and workmanship. We are so sure of what we sell, we stand behind it as if we made it ourselves!

Updated technology is a driving force at MicroReplay. We have made a substantial investment in our modern research/repair facility. Keeping pace with fast-changing electronics technology is paramount. Our repair/rework capabilities include the latest Surface Mount Device (SMD) technologies, including complicated ball-grid-array (BGA) devices and lead-free solder. This allows us to work on the latest boards from Apple.

Efficient operations allows us to offer you "Value Pricing". The heart of our new state-of-the-art capabilities is sophisticated custom operations software. We design, write and integrate our software systems in-house. This function is critical and cannot be outsourced. Using his 23 years of Information Technology experience, our president Joseph has developed enterprise-wide software applications which cover all of our processes and procedures. We have heavily utilized free and open source software in our operation to keep costs down. Joseph even wrote an extensive article that was published in three parts in PHP Architect magazine about this subject. All of these efficiencies allow us to offer you the lowest possible price at the highest possible quality. We do not have lots of overhead which we must build into our prices.

Speed is our hallmark. Our special exchange inventory of “pre-repaired and tested parts” allows us to turn most exchange orders around within 24 hours. We do not wait to fix your particular part. When your part comes in, we usually send you an already repaired, refurbished and tested unit.
